FIREWALL EVANGELISM TRAINING IN LOMÉ, TOGO, WEST AFRICA - 14 AUGUST 2024
Dr. Raymond and Vivian, a businessman and brother in Christ, travelled to Lome, Togo to present Firewall Evangelism training.
Timothy Gbo, the Church of God World Missions appointed Superintendent of the Francophone countries in Africa, invited them to train seventy young people who committed themselves to evangelism and needed to be trained.
“We had a powerful explosive training conference where the Lord’s presence was tangible. Lives were touched and changed”, said Dr. Raymond. The training was presented in the newly built church complex of the Church of God in Togo.
Many people, young and old, came to Christ during the outreach to the local community. The gospel was presented to five hundred and fifty-four people. One hundred and twenty-two people prayed the sinner’s prayer and accepted Jesus Christ into their lives.
Our mission organisation, Wheels for God’s Word and Word on Wheels, bought sixteen bicycles for evangelism. This will enhance the speed at which evangelism can be done. We trust the Lord for a great harvest in the years to come.
Daniel, our interpreter did amazing work to interpret from English into French.
Amazing testimonies were shared during the report-back session. When the announcement was made of how many souls heard the gospel and how many people turned to Christ, the whole group praised the Lord with jubilation. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness, always!
