Gumbane, Mozambique
Previously we reported about the wonderful training that was presented in Gumbane, Mozambique during November 2019. During this training Ps Raymond and Eben Mouton were informed about a problem that was preventing Celia Mendes and her team to grow their own vegetables. This is necessary to assist with the feeding programme for more than 200 children on a daily basis. As soon as they plant any crops, roaming animals will eat and destroy it within the first day.
They decided to build a wall, but their budget did not allow them to complete the wall. Ps Raymond and Eben then decided to contribute towards the building of the wall. On their return they also challenged the Man to Man Ministry in Lewende Woord (Living Word) Assembly in Parow to contribute to the building of the wall. Within a short time, money was raised to build 126 meters of the wall.
The Man to Man Ministry is still continuing to contribute to finish the rest of the wall, as well as to install two gates. We praise the Lord for His provision through touching the hearts and minds of men. We hope to see healthy crops being harvested soon and wonderful meals cooked and enjoyed by the children of Gumbane.
