EVANGELISM TRAINING IN HANOI, VIËTNAM
With the well-known words from the movie, pastor Raymond greeted his Facebook friends: Good morning Vietnam! Praise the Lord! A wonderful and precious time in training evangelism and church planting in Hanoi, Vietnam!
He was invited by Dr. Hendrik Vorster of Church Planting International (CPI). The first order of business was preaching on Sunday morning 21 July. Evangelism training started on Monday. The Christians involved in this training are first generation Christians, which makes the event very special.
The rest of the time was dedicated for church planting training with a larger group than the initial evangelism training. A business acquaintance of Dr. Vorster, Gerhard van Niekerk also accompanied the team. A further special touch to this outreach was the fact that the men were all accompanied by their wives. The Lord blessed the team in more than one way, and they could enjoy fellowship with each other.
New doors also opened for pastor Raymond in that translations of his books into Vietnamese will commence soon. This will kickstart non-formal Theological training amongst this group of Christians in the near future.
